Falon joined the CHWR team in August 2017 as the Project Manager for CARE (Caring and Reaching for Health). She holds a Doctorate in Exercise Science from the Arnold School of Public Health at the University of South Carolina. Her previous work involved creating healthy environments in childcare settings through interventions promoting physical activity and healthy eating behaviors. Falon’s research interests include exploring the role that national nutrition policies and initiatives play in organizational change and their ensuing impact on the nutrition landscape across community-based programs.
ReganBurneyRegan Burney, PhD
Regan joined the CHWR team in February 2014 as the Project Manager with Keys to Healthy Family Childcare Homes, and in 2017 she also became the Project Manager for Healthy Me, Healthy We. She holds a Doctorate in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her work with CHWR continues Regan’s longstanding commitment to researching child behavior and development. Her research interests include how environmental contexts and child personality influence how parents work together and how co-parenting influences child development over time.
