Aviva Starr
Implementation Advisor
Aviva joined the CHWR team in 2019 serving as an Implementation Advisor for Go NAPSACC. Aviva received her Master of Social Work from the University of Washington in Seattle. She has focused her career on supporting our youngest children through family support programs and early childhood mental health consultation in child care programs. Most recently, she worked with ECE providers and families to decrease children’s challenging behavior by enhancing social emotional development. Aviva is excited to bring together children’s physical and emotional health in her work at Go NAPSACC.
Projects:
- Supporting Go NAPSACC Implementation in 10 states
- Assisting in the development of the upcoming Go NAPSACC social emotional module
- Coordinating Go NAPSACC’s Nation Advisory Group (known affectionately as the NAG)
- Served as staff for the Better Together project which enhanced healthy habits in child care in four high obesity states
In her free time, Aviva likes to walk by all water…rivers, oceans, creeks, preferably while having good conversation.
